Thank you for choosing to stay with us at Barn Owl Meadow. Please find below the terms and conditions applicable to our site.

Our operating certificate is issued by the Caravan and Motorhome Club. Our CL operates by the following Caravan and Motorhome Club rules:

• Only members of the Caravan and Motorhome Club on producing their membership cards may be accommodated on the CL, for the purposes of recreation.
• Not more than 5 caravans, motorhomes or trailer tents may be stationed on the CL at any time.
• No caravan or motorhome shall be allowed to stay for more than 28 consecutive days.
• No tent camping to be allowed on site (only a small single-berth pup tent ancillary to the main outfit can be accepted).

Fees

Pitch fees are advertised at the time of booking on our online booking system. X2 adults per night are included,

Arrival & Departure

Please arrive after 12 noon and we ask that you vacate your pitch before 11 am on your day of departure. We will do our best, where possible, to accommodate earlier arrivals or later departures.
On arrival position your caravan or motorhome in a straight line in front of the barrier in order to be able to access the pitches. Press the call button and it will be answered by one of us.

Your pitch number will have been given when booking.

Dogs

We allow a maximum of 3 dogs per unit. We have a dog walk around the 15 acre field but you are required to keep your dog on a lead at all times. Please pick up after your dog and always keep your dog under close control.

Visitors

You are welcome to have day-time visitors during your stay but please let us know that you are expecting them, so that we can account for everyone on site in an emergency.

Cars

CLs are intended for recreational purposes and our expectation is that guests bring one car as the towing vehicle. Motorhomes occasionally bring a car as a runaround vehicle. If you wish to bring more than one car, please arrange this with us in advance.   Maximum speed limit 5 mph. We do not allow charging of electric cars.

Electric Supply

We have 16A hook-ups and charge a flat rate pitch fee inclusive of ‘reasonable use’ of electricity. For economy and fire safety please switch heaters off unless you are on site. No heating in awnings.

Weekends and Bank Holidays

A minimum stay of 2 nights at weekends and a minimum stay of 3 nights over a Bank Holiday.

BBQ’s

Please raise BBQ’s off the ground (bricks can be found at the bin area). BBQ’s should only be used for the cooking of food and extinguished by 10pm. For safety reasons DO NOT use BBQ’s in your AWNING.

Behaviour

In line with the Caravan and Motorhome Club rules, we reserve the right to refuse acceptance or terminate the visit of any person whose conduct, or that of their animals is detrimental to us or to our other visitors. Unless previously agreed, we do not allow the use of drones or other radio-controlled devices or the use of decorative outside lighting without prior agreement.

Loss & Damage

We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage, however caused, to your property or vehicles or any injury to you or your visitors whilst staying on our CL.

Cancellation Policy
We advise that you take out insurance to ensure that, should you need to change or cancel your holiday, you can recover the associated costs from your insurance provider. By making a booking you signify your agreement with our refund policy.
More than 28 days – full refund
Less than 28 days, a refund may be issued minus administration costs.
On or after the intended arrival date, no refunds will be made. Similarly, no credit or refund is available for any unused services provided in the cost of your holiday e.g. if you choose to depart early.
